web.xml is read-only

I only check-out files that I am going to modify. This means that most of
my files are read-only. I have a webapp set-up in the old way, where I am
working in the actual webapp directory.

Everytime I leave the IntelliJ window, the web.xml is opened into an editor
and it says that the web.xml is read-only. Very distracting. I always have
to close that window and finish where I left off.

Is this a bug that I should enter or does it have something with the way
that I have created my project.

BTW, Robert S. Sfeir is "DA MAN". Thank you so much for the tireless work
you have put into helping jetbrains with the web modules.

I have the exact same problem. I think you(or I) should file a bug.

Yep, I see it too. The web.xml file is also opened whenever I do a Save All.

I entered the bug. Wish I could tell you what the number is. Does it take
a while for those to show up?

Ah, ha. It's just not as fast as I would like.
