I can't see what files are green in the project view (the files that are "CVS just added and not yet committed") when they are surrounded with the brownish colored files (the "CVS not added" files).
This problem can be more apparent on LCD monitor with its sligthly skewed colors. Of course, the LCD technology gets better, but some colors are still hard to display, like some shades of green or dark red. Some green shades are almost illegible. And considering that CRTs are being replaced with LCDs, this problem will apparently, grow bigger.
P.S. Has anyone tried IDEA on grayscale monitor? ;)
Well, I think there are also varitions of color blindness.
For example, there are those that are truly color blind, and there are those that have difficulty distinquishing different shades of a similar color; I think this is a condition that is more common in men.

It was an eye opener to me(no pun intended...okay, I admit it, a pun was intended).
I could only get 3 of those, and then I failed the one at the bottom. I randomly picked two people in the office, 1 girl and 1 man, and they both wizzed right through the test and got it 100% correct.
However, so far, I have not had any problems using IDEA. I can pick out the greens, yellows, reds, and blues without a problem.
Just had to more try it, and they got it correct.
I can sort of make out a few more of those, now that I know what the answer is, but everyone is able to just rattle of the answers without having to stare.
Well... this is what is a bit weird for me... I've taken these tests (without cheating even) and I pass with flying colors... however, the darn files in IDEA are giving me grief! :o(
