help adding ant tasks

I have a new ant task which I want to add to my project.
What I did was:
1. add my (not really mine) task source dir to the source dirs
2. defined the output path of this dir to itself
3. the task's output dir was automatically added to the classpath (praise to
IDEA)
4. I added the following line to my ant project: ]]>
5. used the new task in my ant project

when I tried running the ant project I got: "... taskdef class
net.jxta.j2me.tools.Jad cannot be found"

help...?

I finally figured it out - it has to be added in the ant tool windows' tool
bar. I think this item must be updated in the help - I only found it by
accident.
