Run/Debug configuration is part of workspace and not project file??

Hi,

I use IDEA 3.0 and just discovered that removing the .iws file looses the
elaborate configuration I put into it in order to allow me to debug web
applications under Resin 2.1.5.

That fact was also confirmed from looking at the (re-created) iws file with
textpad.

I think this sucks - I don't want to have to keep the .iws file in the
revision control system because that would require me to check it out for
edit every time I want to look at the project. I think such information is
part of the project file.

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

No, I tried to cause a move of this to the .ipr at least as an option but
didn't succeed. It annoys us as well.
