Alt+1 etc. not available with X-Windows

Hi

I run IDEA on our Solaris box, remotely with an Windows 2000 PC running Exceed
7. It starts well, but I don't have the Alt key available (e.g. Alt+1 for the
Project view). I mapped the Alt key in Exceed to X-Windows, therefore Alt+F4 for
closing the apps and so on works fine.

Any suggestions? Is it a general Swing problem?
