How to use CVS function in Linux?

The function of CVS is very well in Win2000.If I want to use,I only set the location of "cvs.exe".
But now,I want to use CVS in RedHat Linux,I don't konw how may I do!
Because cvs is a commond in Linux,so I use "which cvs"in command,"/usr/bin/cvs"is shown.But I set cvs location as "/usr/bin/cvs",Wrong!

Who can help me???

/usr/bin/cvs is correct. What error are you getting?
