The old documentation request

David, where we can expect some documentation from you.
Idea 3.0 eap is just bloated with the exciting features, but not everybody
reads all the history and tries to remember keystrokes and tricks, which are
not documented.

Maybe you can gain support from Idea community. For examples, maybe
community
can participate in creating Tips of the Day, which I found very exciting in
stable Idea, but
this is not updated in EAP.

Maybe we can help you with docs. Just let us know...

Michal!

Your idea sounds really good, and we much appreciate it.
If anybody wants to contribute to the IDEA's Tips of the Day, sharing his
experience with the community, he is always welcome to post his Ariadna tips
to tips@intellij.com
I hope this approach proves to be fruitful ;)

Thanks again for your readiness to help!

How about adding a eap.tips news group? You could let intellij.eap.tips be
unmoderated and intellij.tips be moderated. When 3.0 comes out, you could take
the best tips from eap.tips and move them to intellij.tips. These could also
be put into IDEA's tips.

The idea with the e-mail address is a kind of preliminary solution.
Probably we open the corresponding newsgroup if there is any reaction and
feedback received at tips@intellij.com
For the moment, there are no postings there... :(

Kind regards, and thanks for the feedback.

If anybody wants to contribute to the IDEA's Tips of the Day, sharing his
experience with the community, he is always welcome to post his Ariadna

tips

to tips@intellij.com

I suggest you repost this address:
1. On the wiki.
2. Maybe on the intellij.eap.announcements group.
2. Maybe at the EAP main or download page.

As it is, I think many EAP users don't read this group as much, and so
haven't yet heard of this opportunity.

Regards,
Walter Mundt

Thank you!

We will think where it would be better to post this address, so that it
becomes known for the wider audience.

Best regards,
Ann.
