What does the red outline mean?

Hello,

I notice that sometimes I get this red outline around usually a CSS property. For example, in the attached screenshot the margin is outlined red. As I type "mar" the code completion shows up. Press enter or tab to select "margin". Then as I type the red outline expands. What does that mean?

Live Template placeholder -- that's the only thing known to me that looks like that.

K, thanks. Never used live templates before, so will have to look at it how they work, or just turn them off all together.
