Create addons with scripts Follow

Is it possible to implement addons with scripts (javascript, Python or LUA for instance). I'm not a java programmer and it would be great to be able to create simple scripts instead of java compiled ones.
It would allow developers to create useful addons in hours instead of days.

It seems that someone has created a plugin to create Groovy scripts:
https://github.com/dkandalov/intellij_eval

I can't find it when I Browse all plugins in PHPStorm but it seems to be precisely what I was looking for.

It is for IntelliJ IDEA only (at very least for the moment, don't know if it can support other IDEs): http://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/?idea&pluginId=7173

Too bad!

I hope someone will have the time to create one for PHPStorm as well if this one can't be ported.
