How to configure global external libraries?

Hello,

My development is by 99% related to WordPress or WordPress plugins.

Each time I start a new project I have to configure my external libraries in order to point to a folder that contains WordPress files and plugins.

This is quite an annoying and time wasting task.

I wonder if I miss a setting that allows me to tell phpStorm to always load a "global external library" when starting a new project.

Hi Andrea,

Settings | Template Settings....

Everything that you set there will be used when you create new project.

Thank you Andriy, but there I can't find anything related to external libraries.

The same place where it is configured on per propject level: PHP -> Include paths

P.S.
There is no "gloabl external library" thing in PhpStorm -- all PHP libraries are per project.

Ok, I've found it: I don't configure external libraries from the settings, but from the project pane, so I didn't know where to look for this setting.

"There is no "gloabl external library" thing in PhpStorm -- all PHP libraries are per project.": what do you mean? If the template settings adds the external libraries each time I create a new project, this is exactly what I need.

"Global" means something that will affect all projects / whole IDE at once without making any individual configuration changes in any of them individually, like File Types, Keymaps, Color Styles, Plugins etc

If the template settings adds the external libraries each time I create a new project, this is exactly what I need.

Yes, it will. But it is not "global" by any means -- it affects only newly created projects.

P.S.
You have used "global" in your last sentence of the original post -- I was just clarifying this moment.
