xDebug - bug

Maybe you know this already, but, just in case you don't, I thought I would share this little bit of info:

Xdebug 2.2.0rc1 has a bug that was fixed in xdebug 2.1.x   If you are using header("Location: {$location}), the debugger will simply halt and terminate the debug session in PHPStorm.  The browser will show the page can not be found.  This looks like xDebug - bug #532 fixed in [2010-02-27] — Xdebug 2.1.0beta3

If you are like me and just wanted to simply download the pre-compiled .so (I'm on a MAC) from the Komodo editor site, v7.0.2 has the issue but the one just previous, v6.1.3 does not seem to have the issue.

Of course you could just compile your own but then I suggest you do not use the xDebug 2.2beta source to do so.

I hope that helps someone from a lot of frustration ;)

It appears that xdebug v2.2.0RC2 has solved this issue.

I did build my own .so from the source files for my testing.  I have no idea if the Komodo downloads has a build that has the resolution or not.  Personally, I think I will be building my own .so from now on.  It seems prudent to do so.
