Color Schemes? And anyone willing to convert a NetBeans scheme to PhpStorm for $?

First of all, is there a place in or around the PhpStorm community that holds a repository (much like PhpStorm's plugin repo) for all the cool color schemes / code styles / look & feels? If not, why not? Seems like putting stuff into a forum is a random way to do it.

Secondly, I'm coming from NetBeans and have a Color Scheme I'd like converted for PhpStorm - I'm willing to pay for this if someone is willing to do it.

There are none that I'm aware of, or could find.

I did find a pretty good dark color scheme posted by another member on these forums. Since then, I've tweaked it some (and fixed some languages that the scheme didnt have colors for). If you are interested, the scheme is attached. If you don't like the colors, you can always tweak them in the IDE settings.

Import via File -> Import Settings.

P.S. I'm still awaiting something on my bug report regarding the lack of htaccess syntax color support. Until it's resolved, editing htaccess files is hard on the eyes.

Well, I moving from NB to PS and I try to bring NB default colors and some other settings with me (yeah, I still like NB). PHP, CSS, HTML colors included. Well, not sure about JS, but I will update it later. Unpack it to config/colors and activate in settings menu.

Having trouble with importing that file Aleksey, PhpStorm says it "contains no settings to import"

The file provided by Alexey is simple zip archive, so you have to manually unzip it (not via File | Import Settings).

If you are on Windows, the path will be C:\Users\USERNAME\.WebIde10\config\colors

Does anyone know how to do this on a Mac?

To do what exactly?

Sorry, I have downloaded & unzipped the file Aleksey Deryagin put up. I just don't know how to upload it to PhpStorm. I'm wondering if it's slightly different because I'm on a Mac.

I'm not a Mac user and therefore I could be wrong, but please check this location:

~/Library/Preferences/WebIde10/colors

If that is not the right place .. then do a little experiment:

  • create new color scheme yourself in PhpStorm (Preferences | Editor | Colors & Fonts -- just copy existing one and give it unique name)
  • search your home folder (or maybe ~/Library/) for that file (with .xml extension)
