Hi Sebastian,

Quick search -- not really. You can actually do a very simple find -- just start typing the file name while in Project Tool window and if there is a file within already expanded branches/folders it will be focused.

You can also use Scopes (kind of permanent filtering): in Project Tool window switch to any existing scope (the dropdown box next to "View As:") -- choose "Project Files" for example, then click on "Edit Scopes" button and create your own scope.

In any case -- try Go To | File ... (Ctrl+Shift+N) action.

hi,

thx for your answer! I stick to the Ctrl+Shift+N shortcut then. Background is that I have quite a large project with nearly a 1000 *.js files in various folders. Often I know the classname (=filename) but dont remember excactly the folder hierarchy how to get there.

Then you should also try the other 2 actions from Go To menu: "Go To | Class..." and "Go To | Symbol..." -- they may be more convenient/precise depending on situation.

Hm, that doesnt work at all, CTRL+N isn't showing a single class.

I'm not using JavaScript much myself -- just some basic jQuery manipulations, so cannot really tell you why it does not work for JS. But it definitely works for PHP ;).
