Well, I looked into sources vs current API a bit - looks like author need to update at least the test runner code. AFAIS its google code page wasn't update since Feb'10 - looks like author lost interest in the project... (not IDEA platform plugin only)
Well, you don't need my permission for fixing it. Both plugin and IDEA platform are open-source. However, beware – the project looks abandoned and there will be other (more obscure) problems than obsolete API, I suppose. And you'll need a decent java background to do that in some sane time. We'd gladly help the author of actively developed plugin, but we can't take care of the abandoned/stale project.
Well I definitely can't recommend you trying to fix plugin by yourself. At best case it will be verytime consuming.
can i get some docs on unit testing API or may be some example source code?
I already noted that IDEA platform in open source. Obviously it contains all the code you might need as "example". Anyway we can't provide you any further assistance with java development in this forum, please consult with IDEA plugin development resources.

Yes, my java background is very poor :( , but, however, can i get some docs on unit testing API or may be some example source code?
Or maybe just key concepts of writing own _unit testing_ plugin, like ones that published for VCS integration and "Custom Language" plugin.
