Choose Double Click Action in Remote Host Tool Window

i needed to take always sync my project local copy to remote copy. there are many user that change source on remote.

I find the option "Choose Double Click Action" in manual and i would set it to "Download deployed file content to local file and open it in the editor" for keep always to latest update file before update.

But i don't find this option in my phpstorm, why?! http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/webhelp/remote-host-tool-window.html

There some others method for work with a team on same remote source!?

1- I would that when start phpstorm this check if are there update files respect to my local
2- When upload a file phpsotrm check if the download file date is more recent of that on remote folder

thanks!

p.s. sorry for my bad english

Hello Jhon,

I find the option "Choose Double Click Action"... But i don't find this option in my phpstorm, why?!

Apologies, this option was removed due to technical reasons and documentation is not completely up to date. Aplogies again.

So currently you need to make 2 steps: firstly, download file, and then open it in editor. You can assign hotkeys to both actions (File | Settings | Keymap pane; "Download from default server", "Jump to source" actions), so I hope this won't be too tedious.

thank you!
two steps are not a problem, but i have fear of upload some old files for mistake...for example if select upload for the root folder of local project files (not update), all project is overwrite without any check on which is last modified file...but this problem can occur also with single file...

i think the features you have linked will be very usefull!!!

thanks again for quick response and for all help!!

Hello Jhon,

Unfortunately PhpStorm 1.0 does not support this feature. It will eventually appear in one of PhpStorm 2.0 EAP builds.
