Webstorm WI95-57 FTP error

Hello

I need to edit remote files directly via FTP, so I'm trying to set up the FTP settings in deployment but I get an error:
Connection to mydomain.com failed
could not list the contents of folder ftp://mydomain.com

I'm sure of the credentials.

nobody uses the FTP function?
it's a deal breaker for me.

Hello Paul,

Can you please repeat your actions with FTP logging turned on and attach the log file here?

Sorry, logs don't seem to contain any FTP-related error messages, are you sure you've clicked on 'Autodetect root path' and got an error?

OK, seems current logs don't give enough information. We'll improve this in the next EAP build.

Meanwhile, can you please connect to your FTP server with some other application and provide the list of items in root folder? I guess there may be a problem with files names.

At the first glance I see nothing unusual. I'm afraid we have to wait for the next EAP build which will likely be rather soon.

Can you still use the application without changing the root folder, or you just get stucked at the very next screen?
