Hi there,

> Also please guide on how i can reset the whole UI to default like a new user launching the app for the first time.

Just delete all folders while IDE is closed.

For Windows/Linux it's easy -- just one folder; for Mac -- it will be few of them.

Will I loose my license by deleting the folders?

Not 100% sure .. but most likely yes -- you will have to re-enter your License or JetBrains Account details.

You better describe why do you want to do that -- your initial explanation (first sentence in initial question) does not help much -- too confusing (at least for me).

Thanks Andriy, I have done so but mySQL code still shows  deprecated. I've actually deleted the files that the IDE create inside project files but still shows the highlight.

But those functions are indeed deprecated as of PHP 5.5 and completely removed in PHP 7.0.

http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mysql-query.php

You better migrate to mysqli_xxx variants -- it's pretty similar so should not take long to do such migration.

If you really wish -- you can tell PhpStorm to not to inform about deprecated functions .. but this is not recommended (better "fix" the code). If you still want to disable such notification -- "Settings/Preferences | Editor | Inspections | PHP | General | Deprecated" -- you may disable that inspection or change severity (so it's not "in-your-face" that much).

Thanks Andriy for the clarification, one more thing kindly. how can i change the coloring on the code to look like the second image under so that its much easier to differentiate.

This one has white tags which are similar to the names which are quite hard to differentiate as compared to the second image.

They should be the same.

Is this the same file using different color schemas or what? I see different fonts (at least they rendered differently).

I cannot say why they differ from these small screenshots alone. Post screenshots of the whole files.

Alternatively try different (but bundled/provided by default) color scheme.

But in general: "Settings/Preferences | Editor | Colors & Fonts | HTML --> Tag name".

P.S. You cannot modify standard/bundled scheme -- you have to make own copy of it and only then it can be freely modified.

Sorry, the second screen is the same file opened with Sublime text editor so I want to have the same here.

As I have said -- colors for HTML can be changed at "Settings/Preferences | Editor | Colors & Fonts | HTML" screen.

1. You can click on actual element in preview area and it should select the right style if you cannot find the right one.

2. You can paste your own HTML into preview area so it should be easier to see how the new coloring will be looking on your code.
