Put html/css files under jade/scss files in project view

When a html file is created by the file watcher of webstorm from jade file, the generated file is put under jade file as if the jade file is a folder and the generated html file is in jade file.

I really like this feature because I never write html file by myself, and html files in my project are just intermediate files.

However, this feature does not work if same named html file already exists.

Is it possible to put each html file under jade file whose file name is same if it's created by watcher or not?

If it's not possible, what about hiding some type of files in project view?

Hi there,

Unfortunately not. At the moment such nesting/grouping is done exclusively based on info from File Watcher (when it runs).

Sure.

Create custom Scope where you include only files you want (or exclude unwanted patterns/folders) and then use it in Project View panel instead of default "Project" scope.

The 1st workaround solved my problem. Thank you!

BTW - from next 2016.3 version it should perform such nesting even without the need for File Watcher to run or exist in first place -- some of the most frequently used pairs will be nested automatically.
