Missing Custom expand in Live template

According to this page https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/2016.1/live-templates-2.html there should be Custom option to expand Live template, but don't have this option in my drop-down list.

Is it bug or the documentation is wrong?

It would be really nice to have this Custom option so I could assing some shortcut.

2016.2.1 (EAP build) -- still there.

 

Or maybe you have something else in mind?

I see, its possible to set custom expand for globally for all templates, but not for each template separately.


Too bad its not possible for each template, it would be much better.
Thx anyway.

You can try this:

  • Record macro where you expanding that particular live template
  • Once done -- assign preferred shortcut to that macro
  • Use that macro

Yes I am using macro, but I need it working only in context of PHP code not in HTML etc. And I haven't found any solution for this scenario.
