PhpStorm crashes since last update while opening markdown file
Hello,
I have updated PhpStorm this morning, and since that moment, when I open my editor, it crashes after a few seconds. It seems to crash only when PhpStorm tries to open the “What's new in PhpStorm” markdown file. Markdown files have never worked correctly on any of my computers, and for that reason I can't work today because everytime I try to open PhpStorm again, the markdown file opens itself and makes my editor crash once more.
What could I do to fix this problem ?

Could you please share logs from Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data? They also can be collected here: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/phpstorm/directories-used-by-the-ide-to-store-settings-caches-plugins-and-logs.html#logs-directory.
You can upload the archive with the logs at https://uploads.jetbrains.com/.

You will need to update PhpStorm or use a workaround from https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IJPL-59368.
