Rubymine 2016.2 freezes
Since I updated to Rubymine 2016.2, one of the project I'm working most (a Sinatra app), kepts freezing like every 10 minutes. Already dropped all the .idea files and recreated the project without luck. Its a big project, but I didn't have this freeze issue until this version.
I would like to know what can I provide or what can I do in order to prevent these freezes, where to look for logs, etc.

I ran into this same issue too. I am using OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6.
Hello, Rodrigo,
could you please provide the whole logs folder (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/ruby/2016.2/directories-used-by-rubymine-to-store-settings-caches-plugins-and-logs.html).
I am experiencing the same problem. How do we provide the folder (.tar.gz) to you?
@Peter,
you can send me them to rubymine-support@jetbrains.com, for example.
I am getting the same problem as well. I just sent my logs file to support with the subject of "2016.2 is freezing all the time"
Gmail is giving me security warning uploading the folder as .tar.gz. Says its inspecting inside the zip... any advice?
According to logs I got from @Chris it's a known issue that'll be fixed in the nearest update (most likely this week):
https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RUBY-18289
Olga, do you have an update on when 2.1 will be pushed. This effectively breaks the editor for me as I am a ruby developer. Having an editor that randomly freezes without warning means I can lose my new code at any moment.
Also is there a workaround in the mean time? For instance is there a way to disable indexing?
Chris, fix for this issue is already available in RubyMine 2016.2.1 RC:

Removed
I can't even get work done. RubyMine is freezing about 10 minutes in every time I try to use it. I'm on the most recent release 2016.2.1
@Eric,
could you please send me the whole logs' folder to rubymine-support@jetbrains.com
