Pycharm 5.04 Deployment grayed out in editor buffer window

yes. I have the configuration correct, and there are no excluded paths, and it successfully connects. And I can browse the remote systems directories and files. The remote system is a CentOS 6.5 VM I access through VMWARE, and when I leave at the end of the day I do a shutdown so the system doesn't hang and use too much memory. I come in the next day, start up the VM... Everything looks good, and I check the connection with the Configuration page of the Deployment tools, and everything says all the right things. However, the popup menu in the editor buffer where I want to upload a single file is grayed out and it won't let me execute the upload.

I've also tried to restart PyCharm, but it's the same story.

What else can I try when everything works except the actual UI in Pycharm? It's business logic seems to be wrong.

Whoops. My Bad. A NEW file in a new location(that wasn't mapped) was the issue.
