Ubuntu granting sudo root permission to PyCharm?

Hi there!

I'm current running a Theano script that uses GPU. When I debug the python script, I get an exception: "..... are you sure you have permission?" I believe I need to grant PyCharm sudo permission to run the script. How would I go about doing this?
