Messages Tool Window pops up all the time

Is it possible to disable the annoying popup of the "Messages Tool Window"? I know it will only appear in case of error or warnings, but I don't care about that. Sometimes I KNOW there are error but I don't need these annoying popups.

I was always thinking that it is me who tells the tool what to do - not the other way round! If I'm really interested in what the "tool" has to say I will open it myself. I don't need a babysitter to tell me what to do!
