iOS debug - Process finished with exit code 0

Hi, whenever I run the Appcode to debug/run the projects it exits on start:

/Users/venca/Library/Caches/AppCode33/DerivedData/Cheetah-fcc97b0c/Build/Products/Debug-iphonesimulator/Cheetah.app

Stopping simulator session...
Simulator session started with process 9864

Process finished with exit code 0

It happens with device and simulator. In Xcode everything is OK. Strange thing is that I was using Appcode more than 6 months without problems and it just start happening so I am quite baffled what is going on. No settings were changed recently.

Hi Vaclav.

We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience.

Xcode compatibility for AppCode 3.3.3 is limited to the Xcode 7.2.x version max (please read this blog post for details). Support for the current Xcode 7.3 was delivered in 3.4 EAP builds and in AppCode 2016.1 RC. Please try using it.

This is pretty frustrating.  It would really have been nice if this was included in the highlights so that i would have known to install the RC candidate instead of all the lost time doing everything else.

Here were the highlights that pop'd up in the update dialog:

  • Fix for the issue with autocompletion in for-in loop
  • Fix for Swift completion performance
  • Reverted shared DerivedData directory until issues with reindexing and simultaneous build are fixed

I think maybe "Required if you upgrade to 7.3 and want to use the simulator" would have been a good highlight.

I am experiencing the same issue now with

AppCode 2016.3.2
Build #OC-163.12024.9, built on January 25, 2017
JRE: 1.8.0_112-release-408-b6 x86_64
JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o

and Xcode 8.2.1 which was working fine with no issues several days ago.

Can you please point me in directions on how to troubleshoot the issue?

Figured it out. I had to "Invalidate Cache and Restart" to get AppCode working again.

Cleaning project, build folder, simple restart of AppCode or reboot of mac doesn't help. Only reset cache worked.
