Clion with an old GDB

I am forced to develop on Redhat 5.4  I was able to get Clion running with some help here and an old version of Cmake.

I am unable to debug with gdb with that version.  Is there any workaround for this?  Here is the session.

Rich, I'm afraid CLion doesn't support GDB older than 7.8 (officially. technically, older than 7)
