Cannot Change Color of Certain Console Text

WebStorm 11.0.4

OS X El Captain

I've tried everything, there's no way to change this text color.  It's as though Webstorm takes it over and locks it for some reason.  I've tried changing it through console color settings, no luck.  No matter what I try (changing console colors in mocha or tweaking the hell out of my console prefs in OS X, it has no effect, the color is always the same in Webstorm for the error stack and mocha test name test, etc.)

Talking about the sections outlined in blue:

You need changing both 'standard output' color (Colors & Fonts / Console Colors/ Console/Standard output) and Console Colors/ANSI Colors/Dark Grey

No I've obviously tried that, it doesn't change.

In fact if you change it in one, it changes it in the other because it's a global change.  Like if I change it under Colors & Fonts / Console Colors/ Console/Standard output) (click dark grey, change it to say yellow) it changes the dark grey entery in Colors/ANSI Colors/Dark Grey to yellow as well.  Still I can't get this changed I've tried changing all those console areas and no luck.

In fact lets take an extreme case of tweaking all ANSI colors which ripples across all console areas.  Doesn't change a thing.  I closed out Webstorm after changing them all to pink, but as you can see that grey is still there in my test errors and other items in the console:

So look, sure things changed but not that dark grey.

Doesn't happen to me. They don't affect each other, and I don't have problems changing Mocha console colors, as you can see from my screenshot. Something must be wrong with your color scheme

Well I've had this trouble in the past too.  What's the version you're using?

Interesting...yea it works in the new version of Webstorm that just came out today (which I assume you have installed already on your PC).  I supposed you aren't using THAT now are you :P
