Problem with Autoscroll from source

Answered

When trying to scroll from source, it goes to the .jar file (build folder) instead of the source file. Is there any way to change it?

Thanks!

I'm using Intellij 15

Try to avoid duplicate classes (in source folders and in the jars) in the same project, also check the order of the dependencies.

Check with the latest version (http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html).

I'm running 2017.3.1 and having this issue. It's not always practically possible to avoid duplicate classes in the same project. In my case, I have module1 depending on a release version of module0, but module2, being actively under development, depending on module0's spapshot. On top of that, I have also configured module2 to have module0 as part of its composite build, so whenever I click into a module0 class, the actual source file from module0 is opened. However, the Project pane always seems to auto-scroll to the first occurrence of the source file in External Libraries, in this case the one from module0's release jar.
