Disable split view opening from switcher when [Alt] is pressed

Hello, I found my issue quite well described in this post:

The answer/solution in that post was to switch the key binding so that ALT didn't have to be held down in order to keep the Switcher window open. But, I really don't want to switch my key binding. It's so ingrained in my workflow and now after I updated to latest Rider version, I keep opening files in split view mode. It is very annoying.

So please, is there some alternate solution to avoid opening the files in split view?
