"New UI" takes a lot of resources - unnecessarily. "Self-employed".

To such a level that you cannot work with 2024.2.*. Something is eating up one processor at 100% all the time. All the time. Doing nothing with phpSorm. If two phpStorm applications are open, it feels like I'm working on a Win98 33MHz computer with a M$ Access large database. Everything slows down. Everything is doing something pointless. Simple text highlighting is like remote desktop via dialup. It is impossible to work.

Computer resources are quite enough.

I cleaned everything where jetbrain or phpstorm. I installed 2024.1. With "New UI" it also slows down a lot. I turn it off and ... can finally breathe.

Tell me, what is it about the upgrade to 160 MB (2024.2) and "No UI" that is worth overclocking my PC? I didn't see anything there.
