Loading Welcome Screen

Why do I have to stare at your loading screen for 40-60 seconds in PHPStorm? When I’m working on my laptop in energy-saving mode, instead of being able to start PHPStorm and continue working on my computer, I’m forced to sit there, staring blankly at your loading screen with your logo... Who on earth came up with this? WHY? ******

Hi Alexander Varik,

Please add -Dnosplash=true line in Help | Edit Custom VM Options. This will disable the splash screen appearance.

P.S. Considering that the option to disable it exists, I can only assume that IntelliJ doesn't care much for its customers.
