PhpStorm 2024.2.1: Logs are very laggy

I like what you have done with the update to the logs with everything colour coded and linked etc but it's very laggy to scroll through them on my Macbook!

I work full time with Laravel applications and some of my logs are 11,000+ lines long. They were ok to scroll through before the updates but now they are very annoying to use.

Is this something that can be addressed, please? I'm very happy with the rest of PhpStorm and it's other recent updates.

My PhpStorm version is 2024.2.1 (I have checked for updates again today and it looks like I'm up to date)

Hi Jim,

We have the following known issue filed on YouTrack: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-78313. If this is the case and your log file contains large stack traces, please vote for the issue on YouTrack. As soon as it is fixed, you will be notified by email.

Otherwise, submit a request via PhpStorm | Help | Contact Support or at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/newIssue?project=WI and share the log file that is causing issues for further investigation.
