Rubymine hanging with spinning beach ball on OS X

Started getting spinning beachballs and having to force quit the app. It seems to be in the process of saving something according to the status at the bottom of the window. Started happening recently. Didn't happen under 2024.1.6 which I recently upgraded from.

Hello,

In case the hang happens once again, could you please runjstack -l -e <rubymine_pid> >stack.txt and send us the file? Additionally, a screenshot of the status showing the current process at the bottom of the window could be helpful. Also, please collect the IDE logs and send them to us. You can use this article to find the log files and upload logs and the collected stack.txt to https://uploads.services.jetbrains.com/ .

Will do. However, I think it was due to the Cody plugin. In the past it hasn't seemed to be a good citizen so I removed it and it hasn't hung since doing that and I have been using Rubymine pretty hard.

Thank you for the update. In case of other freezes, please share the logs so we can investigate the problem.

Have a lovely day!
