Display issues - IntelliJ IDEA 2024 possibly the cause?
I have weird display issues since two months or so. It comes in different forms, but it is always the right hand site of the screen that is affected. I couldn't demonstrate it with 100% certainty but I suspect I have that issue only when running IntelliJ IDEA. It usually comes randomly after some time of working with the IDE, drives you nuts for like 10 to 15 minutes and suddenly goes away. I looks like display drivers get confused until some OS process seems to fix it from time to time.
Is there any reason to believe that my suspicion that IntelliJ IDEA might be the cause has grounds? I have noticed quite a number of complaints about the quality of the 2024 version, but nothing seems to be spot on like what I am experiencing.
Specs are as follows:

Thanks for getting in touch with JetBrains Support.
Can't say I've seen issues like yours before.
Are you display drivers up to date?
What happened two months ago? Was there a system update? Did you try reverting some of the recent Windows updates to see if it makes a difference?
Could it be that the graphics card or CPU is overclocked / has strayed too far from the default configuration?
Thanks for your quick response, Arina. I don't know when exactly all that started. So, hard to tell what change/update that might have caused. The problem is now occurring also right away after booting the system. I think I will focus for now on possible hardware problems (I should probably open the machine and clean it, remove dust etc.). Otherwise I'll try and re-install the display drivers.
