Error Message related to an application that is not installed

I intermittently receive the two following error messages but I uninstalled rancher.  How do I correct this?

“External file changes sync might be slow
[rancher-desktop] File watcher failed repeatedly and has been disabled"

Hi, please try to disable the options under Settings | Appearance & Behavior | System Setting | Sync External Changes and see if it helps or not.
Meanwhile, please take the actions: File | Invalidate Caches... | Invalidate and Restart
