MicroPython not working, since I upgraded to 2024.3.x

Getting the following error:
Plugin 'MicroPython' (version '1.4.6-2024.2') is not compatible with the current version of the IDE, because it requires build 242.* or older but the current build is PY-243.22562.220
Is there a way around this, or do I need to wait for the developer to update the PlugIn?

As MicroPython is maintained by a few developers on JetBrains, this is still on the backlog - https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-micropython/issues/327
As a workaround, install 2024.2 IDE instance via the Toolbox App to work on the MicroPython project

How long does it take for MicroPython to catch up with PyCharm?
Is there an alternative plugin I can use? I'm jist getting into ESP32 programming. Would like to stay with PyCharm if at all possible.

Try MicroPython Tools. This plug-in is awesome, and kept up to date.
