Problems with renewing student license
So for my course, i've been given instructions: You can also get IntelliJ Ultimate for free through the JetBrains Education programme6 – all you need to do is verify your university email address, however this is optional.
When I apply, i get "If you would like to renew your Student License, please use the dedicated link in your JetBrains Account, or check the email reminder we send out one week before your license expires for the same link", so i click on link and it says u have no license… so i click on “Apply for a free student or teacher license for educational purposes”, it takes me to applying for it but AGAIN i get "If you would like to renew your Student License, please use the dedicated link in your JetBrains Account, or check the email reminder we send out one week before your license expires for the same link", help please.

is valid until July 09, 2026, and your JetBrains account is managed with this email address
nih**jij@gmail.com. That means, that you can use it as your login + password to use the software and the JB account. Please log in to your JetBrains account using this email address and password in order to reach your
subscription here https://account.jetbrains.com/login. After downloading the tool, please activate it with the option JB account also using your email address and password.
Please note that we have unified our policy regarding JetBrains Accounts for individual customers: personal licenses must be managed under a single JetBrains Account.

According to your email address, the administrator of associated account is u*******@anu.edu.au. To request renewal, please log in to your account page using this email address and your password, and submit the request through the renewal portal.

Hi Shitong, thanks for replying. Does it mean that I need to login with u*******@anu.edu.au or 234712236@csu.edu.cn? Also, I've logged in both of these two emails, however I did not find renewal portal in both account. Can you send me a link of it? Many thanks.

Same, my old student license expired in 2020. Now that i'm graduating in another college i wanted to get a new license, but i am also stuck on this loop.

I've encountered the same problem. I've confirmed that yesterday (20th of August 2025), I had my license, however, today, the license seems to be gone. I tried applying for another one, but I encountered the same loop. Thank you!

Please note that as of July 2024, it’s no longer possible to apply for the JetBrains educational license using official documents. This policy change was implemented to streamline the verification process and ensure a more secure and efficient system for all applicants. We provide free licenses for students, as long as you meet one of the
following criteria:
1. Your university domain should be added to SWOT repository, here's
how to do it (https://github.com/JetBrains/swot?tab=readme-ov-file#how-to-add-a-domain-to-this-repository)
2. You have a valid ISIC card. You can apply for an ISIC card at https://www.isic.org/ validate it and apply with the option ISIC card.
3. You have a GitHub student developer pack (https://education.github.com/pack)

Hello JetBrains Support Team, I am unable to access my JetBrains subscription, even though it should still be active. My subscription started on March 5, 2025, and it is valid for one year, meaning it should not expire until March 5, 2026. However, when I log in to my JetBrains account, I see this message: "You don’t have any active subscription." There is also no button or option to manage or renew my license. When I try using the renewal link, it just redirects me back to the same page showing no active subscription. Here are my order details for reference: Order ID: D382382197 Could you please investigate this issue and restore my access to my subscription?
