Goland 2025.1 RC won't open project on Mac OSX

Goland 2025.1 RC will not open an existing project or create a new one. As soon as I select any project, or try to create a new project, I see a quick flash of the IDE opening and then it disappears and it's back to the Welcome to Goland screen. I've tried removing the .idea directory, restarting Goland and rebooting. Nothing helps. Goland 2024.3.5 continues to work.

Unsure if related, but this notification pops up on the Welcome screen:

Unable to save settings
The plugin PythonCore failed to save settings. Please restart Goland

I disabled a number of plugins from the Welcome dialog and projects are opening again. Python Community Edition is causing the startup issue.

Hi Steve, this is due to PY-80382, unfortunately. Please refer to this comment for a possible workaround.
