Color chips not updating?

I'm using Webstorm with a Material UI react project. I'm changing the color scheme in the project from the default, which used a blue for the `brand` color.  I updated the colors, and Webstorm shows the expected color as the second chip, but the first chip is still blue. Why? And why are there two chips in the first place?

Note, this happens whether I use HSL or Hex values for the colors.
