Could you elaborate a bit on this? What kind of tabs are you referring to? I'll create a new feature request or find an existing one once I have more details.
Do you mean grouping the query console tabs or the result tabs?
Regarding custom sessions, are you referring to something similar to how consoles are grouped in the Services tool window?

but when you click the tabs up top they don't usually correlated in the corner
Yes, only files that have an associated session are shown in the Services tool window. It won’t display procedures, sequences, object types, etc., in the Services tool window until the code is executed from them.
So you're looking for a way to group all the highlighted tabs (not just query consoles) that were opened for a particular database, right?
