Pycharm "Inspect Code" locking up and not completing scan

We have noticed that with the newer version of PyCharm the Inspect Code is picking up new rules and things. In attempts to make changes and check for areas of issue we have noticed that the inspect code gets stuck on “Scanning Scopes” indefinitely until we cancel and try again and often need to start PyCharm completely.  The larger the folder the more often it happens. I used to be able to do an inspect on the entire project but now that is not possible.  Is there something wrong with the update that causes the inspection to lock up? (note we use the Default Profile, and have seen on multiple PC's running 2025.1.1 Build PY-251.25410.122 built on May 7, 2025.
