Expired Certificate for analytics.services.jetbrains.com

Answered

An untrusted server certificate shows on my IntelliJ Build #IC-252.16512.17, built on May 20, 2025. How do I prevent this message from showing again, other than by adding it to the truststore? It keeps popping up in my IntelliJ from time to time. Thanks

Hi, thank you for reaching out!
You can enable the option to accept non-trusted certificates automatically via Settings | Tools | Server Certificates.
Please let me know if that helps.

That helps but is it unsafe to accept not trusted or expired certificates? Thanks

Thanks for following up!

This behavior was caused by an issue that's already been resolved: IJPL-189185, so there's no need to enable the option to accept non-trusted certificates automatically.

It's better to keep that option disabled, especially now that the issue has been fixed.

I certainly hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
