Hi,
Are you using Windows? Please also share your keymap settings as described below:
Yes, Windows 11
settings.zip
Could you also check the Keymaps (schemes) box and export settings once again?
I've tried to reproduce the issue, but haven't had any luck so far. When you say “clicking lock/unlock”, could you clarify what exactly you mean? Are you referring to the keyboard shortcut (Win/Win+L), or is there a specific button in DataGrip you're referring to? Also, if you disable all plugins as outlined here and then restart DataGrip, is the issue still reproduced?
Additional detail: odd indentation/formatting happens on “LOCK”, goes back to “original normal” on “UNLOCK”
settings2.zip
Clicking that “lock”
ALL plugins disabled: It stops happening.
What settings do you have in Editor > Reader Mode (see Reader Mode)? Is the Format code according to preferred style setting enabled? If yes, does disabling it help?
> If yes, does disabling it help?
Yes it stopped.
Thank you for checking it. Then, if you use Reader Mode (which is activated when you click the lock/unlock button) and you don’t want the code to be visually reformatted when Reader Mode is enabled, please keep the Format code according to preferred style setting disabled.
