JetBrains AI Assistant fails to load when 3rd-party reporting and telemetry services are blocked

When I block network access to reporting and telemetry services, JetBrains AI Assistant is stuck at “loading.” When I allow network access to reporting and telemetry services, the plugin works.

This is concerning. At the least, it means the plugin is dependent on connecting to these services. At the worst, it means the plugin may still be sending usage information regardless of opting out of sharing.

We have a detailed Data Collection and Use Policy that explains exactly what information we collect.

And block "reporting and telemetry" services shouldn't be the reason for the malfunctioning of the AI Assistant. We need to understand if the issue happens due to a license activation issue or chat requests don't reach the destination API.
