Feature Request: Use Import Data with subset of columns

The Import Data feature can update a SQL Table with values from a CSV file: Import | PyCharm Documentation

However, this is incompatible with tables that are designed such that INSERT statements are not supposed to insert every column.  For example, it's incompatible with SQL Server Temporal Tables: Temporal Tables - SQL Server | Microsoft Learn

I have a CSV with columns A, B, and C.  In SQL Server, the columns are A, B, C, ValidFrom, and ValidTo.  I need Import Data to use INSERT VALUES (A, B, C) instead of INSERT VALUES (A, B, C, ValidFrom, ValidTo).

I'm using PyCharm 2025.2.0.1

Hi Sam,

If you want only specific columns to be inserted from a CSV file into an existing folder, you can just unmap these columns to insert the mapped columns of your choice
