REPL will not launch

Using 2025.2 CE
JDK 24.0.2
Project is open and properly named (single word “test”)
Tried “Repair IDE” and “Invalidate the caches”. Reloaded IDE.
Window never opens. I get no error or any other window opening. It just simply does not launch.

To make sure we're on the right track, when you say "REPL", are you referring to the Java JShell console?
