Snowflake: change between available roles/warehouses in scratch pad

It would be great if it was possible to make it easier to change between available roles and warehouses in a scratch pad? Now I have to go to snowflake snowsight to see which roles I have and copy-paste them..

You can switch Roles in the connection properties of your data source settings

Is it possible to have a dropdown menu there for the role and warehouse with all the available roles and warehouse combinations attached to my user? Or have this possible per scratch_pad or sql file?
 

Role 1 → WH_1,WH_2

Role 2→ WH_1,WH_3

We have a feature request for the Role switcher in the script files(consoles)

I've also created a feature request to fill in the gap in the Warehouse field and make it a drop-down associated with a selected Role

Aleksandr Molchanov That would be perfect! It is safe to assume that this will also work in scratch pads?

Also any idea how long before this will be implemented?

This is to be discussed. We'll update the issue as soon as we have a clearer picture regarding this feature. I'd encourage you to follow this issue to stay updated on the current status
