How to bind T to Terminal in Switcher

Answered

In previous versions of IntelliJ I could press Ctrl + Tab to open the switcher and then press T to open/go to the terminal.

I upgraded to 2025.2.3, and when the switcher opens, the key for the terminal is random; sometimes it's 3, sometimes it's 5, and it's even been O.

I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue on IntelliJ IDEA 2025.2.4 or 2025.3. Terminal was always assigned T shortcut in switcher for me.
Could you test with these versions with a third party plugin disabled?  You can disable all 3rd party plugins via Settings | Plugins | ⚙ | Disable all downloaded plugins. You can re-enable all the plugins again later with the Enable all Downloaded Plugins option.

I tested with all plugins disabled, and it binds to 3 (it seems it doesn't change at least). Is there a way to configure it to be T?

Could you share a screenshot/screen recording for reference of what you see? You can upload it to https://uploads.jetbrains.com/ and share the upload id here.

I've uploaded a switcher screenshot here

I tested across 3 different devices (1 has a different account). With all plugins disabled, it's 3 for for the three devices, with plugins enabled, it varies (3,5,O).
