Cannot find declaration to go after upgrading to 2025.2.5

After upgrading to 2025.2.5 all projects have lost indexes. I have tried to “Repair IDE” but has not worked. I cannot navigate inside the projects

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out.

Please try the following steps:

  1. Clear IDE caches:
    Go to File | Invalidate Caches…, select all options, and restart the IDE.
    Wait for indexing to fully finish and check whether navigation works again.
  2. If the issue still happens:
    • Please let me know whether all projects are affected or only some of them.
    • Try creating a brand-new simple project (e.g., a Java project with one class) and check if indexing/navigation works there.
    • Reproduce the problem, then collect the IDE logs by going to Help > Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data, and then upload the resulting zip file to our private server and share the upload ID with us.
    • A short screen recording showing what you see when trying to navigate would also help.
