No Blog posts about EAP this year?

Hi, 

Just wondering why there have been no blog posts on the EAP this year. 

I have browsed the Release notes, but it is not clear what the nice new 'things' are that are coming in 2026.1

Hi there,

Weekly posts were replaced with an opening EAP blog post + Beta / RC / EAP closure posts + "What's Fixed" post + "What's New" documentation / editor page + release notes.

As to why there was no opening EAP blog post for 2026.1 this year, I will check internally and get back to you. Thanks.

According to our developers, starting with 2026.1 we are:

  1. Deciding for each EAP release separately on whether it needs an EAP opening blog post, depending on how many new features it contains or how important the features are.
  2. Discontinuing Beta/EAP Closure posts with a 90% chance.

I updated the knowledge base article accordingly. Thanks for your concern and sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused.
